Apple and Mosyle

As Covid makes the world experience the taste of working in our pajamas. The world is shifting to working from home. The main concern is that our home will be exposed to work. I am an avid internet news watcher and there have been many stories of cameras that accidentally come on or privacy not being private anymore. Apple is also making this move for it’s workers and are protecting their privacy with the help of Mosyle.

Mosyle MDM manages your devices, apps, profiles and assets by performing mobile device management operations to configure and secure mobile devices from a central location. It supports managing iOS, Android, Samsung SAFE & Samsung KNOX devices and Windows phones. Apple is taking the Screen View feature to support their devices. Their remote IT professionals will be able to deliver tech support , advice and /or training when logged into the admin portal. The secure part of it is that it protects both parties privacy and it is secure using full encrypted peer to peer connection between the devices . Each party’s data remains private and doesn’t transmit or store the Mosyle’s servers.

Screen view also makes sure that the IT department isn’t abusing the tool to check in employees . It is built with what I like to call access only precautions that uses a unique link where access must be granted . The link also has a time limit as well before it expires.

I know Apple will not be the first to use this technology but is pushing to have this feature in their products sooner than later.
