Being the leader of a pack- Product Management

In the world of being tech-adjacent , I find myself looking for positions that will play to my strengths and my educational background. One of the many positions in this space is a Product manager. Most people don’t know in tech spaces , this is a very important role to have. I wanted to share some information about product manager with you.

A product manager is a professional that is responsible for the company’s product development. They are in charge of making sure that the products benefit the business. They exhibit strong skills in product management, planning, inventory control, and strategy .

Other Skills that they possess will include ;

Marketing — How the product is presented to the masses.

Analytical — Effectively analyze data and the market for the product development and pricing.

Time Management — Being able to produce order timelines to have goals met.

Problem-solving — the ability to be able to handle situations if they arise.

Interpersonal — Being able to successfully communicate and influence others.

Technical — Being able to analyze and manage budget.

Having these skills will help balance the user’s experience , the technology behind it and the business that will make the profit. They help lead their team in success for the department that they work in. The average salary of a median product manager $73K- 150K accounting to Glassdoor. It is a cool job for people who’ve done a bootcamp like me but don’t see themselves behind the computer coding all day.
